VPS: What It Means

A rented remote computer that keeps a trading bot running around the clock.

A virtual private server, or VPS, is a computer in a data centre that you rent by the month. Traders use one so a bot keeps running when their own computer is off or their internet drops.

A VPS reduces the risk of missed trades from power or connection failures, and one located near the broker's servers can fill orders faster. It is also a recurring cost that comes out of the bot's results.
